We recommend that during a successful meet and greet, the walker sends the link directly from their phone so the pet parent can immediately:
Complete their personal profile
Add pet details
Upload a photo of their dog
This link is sent at the beginning of every new client relationship to ensure accuracy and accountability from day one.
If a booking is submitted directly through our website calendar:
Base Camp (our admin team) will manually contact the client to confirm the appointment
Since photos cannot be uploaded through the calendar, clients will be asked to text a pet photo directly for records

After confirmation:
Clients receive an official confirmation via text through the Walkies app, sent directly from their journal
This ensures all communication is time stamped and recorded, eliminating any confusion about appointment details
For online bookings, payment via Cash App is collected at this stage.
This alerts the pet parent that their service is officially in motion.
